Recent Projects

Every project starts with a meter, not a guess

Each engagement below began with a Level 2 power quality audit and ended with post-install verification logging.

Manufacturing

Precision Machining Plant

North Las Vegas, NV · 1,200 kVA service · 14 VFD-driven CNC cells

The problem
VFD drives were injecting 5th and 7th order harmonics back onto the service, overheating the main transformer and tripping drives during peak production shifts.
What we did
Level 2 power quality audit followed by tuned passive harmonic filters at the two largest drive panels plus line-side conditioning on the main switchboard.
The result
Nuisance drive faults stopped, transformer operating temperature dropped, and the plant reclaimed capacity without upsizing the service.

Casino Resort Property

Las Vegas Area, NV · 3 MPTS power conditioning units · gaming floor + HVAC plant

The problem
Repeated LED driver failures across the gaming floor and unexplained HVAC motor burnouts, with recorded THD above 38% on lighting panels.
What we did
Three-unit MPTS power conditioning system installed ahead of the lighting and mechanical distribution, with 30-day post-install logging.
The result
LED driver replacements fell to near zero and mechanical maintenance spend dropped materially year over year.

Multi-Tenant Office Portfolio

Lake Oswego, OR · 4 buildings · 486,000 sq ft combined

The problem
Elevated neutral currents and flickering in tenant spaces, driven by heavy single-phase electronic load and unbalanced panels.
What we did
Harmonic filtration at the shared riser panels, panel rebalancing, and capacitor-based power factor correction sized from 30-day metering.
The result
Tenant flicker complaints ended and utility power factor penalties were eliminated across all four buildings.

Outpatient Surgical Campus

Salt Lake City, UT · Imaging suite + central plant

The problem
Imaging equipment was logging voltage sags and transient events during chiller starts, forcing scan repeats and vendor service calls.
What we did
Transient suppression and conditioning on the imaging branch, soft-start review on the chiller, and continuous power quality monitoring.
The result
Imaging downtime tied to power events dropped to zero over the following two quarters.
